Welcome to the Bury St. Edmunds Distinguished Gentleman's Drive - this is our third event and will be bigger and better than ever, with your help and support.

We'll be leaving Krazy Horse in Bury St. Edmunds around 11am and I encourage you to arrive well before that time to socialise, get some photos and perhaps partake of the excellent cafe at Krazy Horse, which is open from 10am.

Our meeting point will be at the Morgan/Caterham/Dodge showroom, address: Deco House, 5 Lamdin Road, Bury St Edmunds, IP32 6NU. As you turn into Lamdin Road, continue down the road and the showroom is on the right-hand side. The cafe is a short walk over the road to Empire House.

The full route is on this site, but please bear in mind it may be updated/changed right up until the day! printed directions will be handed out on the day. The route will take us from Bury St. Edmunds, around Bury ring road (A1302/Tayfen road/Parkway), through Lavenham, Long Melford, Clare country park (stop for tea and cake?), and ending at Worlington Hall, near Mildenhall around 2.30-3pm. Food will be available from 3pm. The full route will be 45-50 miles.

At Worlington Hall we've organised the option of a hog roast (roll and coleslaw) at just £10 a head (including a vegan option) served from 3pm, and these need to be pre-ordered (and paid) with myself (Graeme). Worlington Hall have said they may be able to cater for a few extras on the day if you should have a last minute co-pilot or guest, but please don't rely on this for those you know are coming. The bar will of course be open serving hot and cold beverages and if the weather is forgiving, they have beautiful lawns and outside seating alongside a river.
